SCIS is processing personal data in accordance to the specifics of its activities as government body on which the CIPA commission the organization, implementation, coordination and control of the protection of classified information in a way that does prohibits the rights of the individuals in regards to their data according to Regulation (EU) 2016/679 and PDPA.

In processing personal data, SCIS follows the principles of:

• Legality, confidentiality, good faith and transparency;
• Limiting goals;
• Limiting data to the necessary minimum and limiting its storage;
• Accuracy and accountability;
• Permanent control.

The processing of personal data is carried out by administration employees, assigned with the order of SCIS chairperson, who sign a declaration of consent to collect, process, store and protect personal data and declaration of non-disclosure and non-dissemination of personal data.
