Signing of an Agreement with the Republic of Croatia on the exchange and mutual protection of classified information

On 30 September 2008 in Zagreb, a ceremony on the signing of an Agreement between the Republic of Bulgaria and the Republic of Croatia on the exchange and mutual protection of classified information.

 The Agreement establishes the legal framework of the cooperation between the two states in the field of classified information protection and creates conditions for effective interaction between them in different fields of public life by guaranteeing effective protection of the exchanged classified information.
On behalf of the Government of the Republic of Bulgaria the Agreement was signed by Mrs. Tsveta Markova, Chairperson of the State Commission on Information Security, and on behalf of the Republic of Croatia the agreement was signed by Mr. Ladislav Pivcevic- director of the National Security Council.
