Working meeting between Mrs. Tsveta Markova, Chairperson of the State Commission on Information Security and Mrs. Daniela Barisic, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Croatia

On 6 March 2009 in Sofia Mrs. Tsveta Markova, Chairperson of the State Commission on Information Security had a working meeting with Mrs. Daniela Baricis, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Croatia.

During the meeting the activities of the State Commission on Information Security were presented. The forthcoming entry into force of the bilateral Agreement on the mutual protection and exchange of classified information between the Government of the Republic of Bulgaria and the Government of the Republic of Croatia was also discussed.

Mrs. Baricis expressed her willingness for the continuance and the deepening of the traditionally good cooperation in the field of classified information protection between the two states, as well as in other fields of public life.

On her behalf Mrs. Markova also expressed readiness for cooperation and for rendering the necessary assistance to Croatia on its way to the European Union and NATO and thanked for the manifested consideration.

The meeting took place at the SCIS’ headquarters and was conducted in a friendly atmosphere.
