The SCIS conducted training on the protection of NATO ATOMAL information

On 20 October 201 the State Commission on Information Security conducted training of employees of the state administration who have the right to handle NATO ATOMAL classified information.

The training was opened and supervised by the Chairperson of the SCIS Mrs. Tsveta Markova.

The Head of the Physical and Documentary Security Department Mr. Nikolay Katsarski made a presentation on the “Protection of NATO ATOMAL information”. The main principles of the Administrative Arrangements on the Implementation of the Agreement between the Parties to the North-Atlantic Treaty for Cooperation regarding Atomic Information were considered.

The accent was put on the Registry system and the different types of protection of ATOMAL information.

The briefing provoked interest and the participants of the Ministry of Defence, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs an the SCIS took part in it actively.
