Working meeting between the Chairperson of the State Commission on Information Security Mrs. Tsveta Markova and the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Czech Republic H. E. Mr. Pavel Vacek

On 8 November 2011 in Sofia the Chairperson of the State Commission on Information Security Mrs. Tsveta Markova held a working meeting with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of of the Czech Republic H. E. Mr. Pavel Vacek.

During the meeting Mrs. Markova presented the activities of the State Commission on Information Security in its capacity of National Security Authority of the Republic of Bulgaria.

She paid special attention to the Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Bulgaria and the Government of the Czech Republic on mutual protection and exchange of classified information which was signed on 3 May 2007 in Prague by emphasizing the important role of such agreements as they set the legal framework in different fields of public life that require exchange of classified information.
 
On his behalf H. E. Mr. Vacek thanked for the provided opportunity to be introduced to the activities of the SCIS and declared his readiness for co-operation.
 
He also presented his congratulations on the occasion of the 9th Anniversary of the SCIS.

The meeting was held in the headquarters of the SCIS and was carried out in working environment.
