Disclosed session of the Control of the Security Services, Use and Employment of Special Intelligence Means and Access to Data under the Electronic Communications Act Parliamentary Committee

On 20th March 2014 in the Headquarters of the State Commission on Information Security disclosed session of the Control of the Security Services, Use and Employment of Special Intelligence Means and Access to Data under the Electronic Communications Act Parliamentary Committee was held. The Chairperson of SCIS Mr. Boris Dimitrov introduced the Committee to the current status and the problems of SCIS as he emphasized on the priorities in its activities as National Security Authority, the implementation of the measures on the different types of security, the interaction within NATO and EU and the international cooperation as a whole.

The report was discussed by the attendees in the session as all of the questions of the Members of the Parliament were timely answered.

Mr. Dimitar Dabov, who is the Chair of the Parliamentary Committee, expressed his satisfaction of the conducted session.
