Draft Agreement between the Republic of Bulgaria and the Italian Republic

The second round of expert talks on a Draft Agreement between the Republic of Bulgaria and the Italian Republic on Mutual Protection of Exchanged Classified Information was held in March 2005 in Sofia, between representatives of the State Commission on Information Security, National Security Service, and “Military Police and Military Counterintelligence” Service, and representatives of the National Security Authority of Italy. The talks were held in a constructive manner, as the clauses had been previously specified at expert level.

Procedures on text approval and authorization of the Head Representatives of the National classified information security authorities was initiated by both parties as a result of the implementation of the Protocol established.
