Working meeting between the Chairperson of the State Commission on Information Security Mrs. Tsveta Markova and the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Estonia to the Republic of Bulgaria H. E. Mr. Toomas Kukk
Posted on 12 Mar 2012 14:52:00On 7 March 2012 in Sofia the Chairperson of the State Commission on Information Security Mrs. Tsveta Markova held working meeting with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Estonia to the Republic of Bulgaria H. E. Mr. Toomas Kukk.
During the meeting Mrs. Makova presented the activities of the Commission in its capacity of National security authority of the Republic of Bulgaria. She put an accent on the international activities of the Commission and especially on deepening of the relations between the tow countries in the field of protection and exchange of classified information.
Mrs. Markova presented the Training center of SCIS in the town of Bankya and its candidature as regional training center for the South-Eastern European countries for NATO purposes..
Ambassador Kukk thanked for the opportunity to be introduced to the activities of SCIS and emphasized that Estonia would support such initiative as well as that the two countries could have successful cooperation in such fields as cyber defense.
H. E. Mr. Kukk expressed readiness for assistance in case of future cooperation with representatives of NATO Regional center in Tallinn. He informed Mrs. Markova that the experts form this center would share with readiness their experience and knowledge with their Bulgarian colleagues.
Both parties declared their readiness for co-operation.
The meeting was held in the Headquarters of SCIS and was carried out in working environment.
