ANNUAL REPORT ON THE OVERALL ACTIVITY ON THE STATUS OF THE PROTECTION OF THE CLASSIFIED INFORMATION IN THE REPUBLIC OF BULGARIA

The National Assembly of the Republic of Bulgaria during its closed session on 1st September 2016 adopted Annual Report on the overall activity on the status of the protection of the classified information in the Republic of Bulgaria in 2014 and Annual Report on the overall activity on the status of the protection of the classified information in the Republic of Bulgaria in 2015.

The annual reports of the State Commission on Information Security cover the activities of the competent authorities from the system for protection of the classified information, analyze the results of the implemented measures of the different types of security of information, present the international cooperation and the implementation of the international standards and good practices of NATO and EU partners, the conclusions and priorities in the activity on protection of the classified information. The reports are prepared by SCIS and are results of the joint work together with the security services, the public order services and the other organizational entities.

As a whole the Reports contain summarized data about the functioning of the system for safeguarding classified information and on these grounds they have been classified with the security level of Confidential.
