Working meeting between the Chairperson of the State Commission on Information Security Mrs. Tsveta Markova and the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Spain to the Republic of Bulgaria H. E. Mr. Rafael Mendivil Peydro
Posted on 28 Feb 2011 14:50:00On 28 February 2011 in Sofia the Chairperson of the State Commission on Information Security Mrs. Tsveta Markova had a working meeting with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Spain to the Republic of Bulgaria H. E. Mr. Rafael Mendivil Peydro.
During the meeting Mrs. Markova presented the activities of the State Commission on Information Security in its capacity of National Security Authority of the Republic of Bulgaria.
She also gave to His Excellency Mr. Peydro a copy of the text of the Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Bulgaria and the Government of the Kingdom of Spain on mutual protection and exchange of classified information which was signed on 27 September 2005 in Madrid.
On his behalf His Excellency Mr. Peydro stressed on the importance of such Agreements as they facilitate the activities in the field of industry and they represent an opportunity for extending the relations.
His Excellency Mr. Peydro also explained that he is familiar with the good relations between the State Commission on Information Security and the National Security Authority and expressed readiness for assistance in case a bilateral meeting for exchange of experience between the two authorities was organized.
On her behalf Mrs. Markova also confirmed her readiness for cooperation and thanked for the manifested attention. She also emphasized on the role of the bilateral Agreements on the protection and exchange of classified information as they give a possibility for more active economical relations between the states.
The meeting was carried out at the premises of the SCIS and was conducted in working environment.
