Signing of Arrangement on industrial security between the Government of the Republic of Bulgaria and the Government of Canada

On 30th August 2017 in Ottawa Canada the General Director in the Industrial Security, Public Services and Procurements signed on Canadian side the Arrangement between the Government of the Republic of Bulgaria and the Government of Canada.

On behalf of the Republic of Bulgaria the Arrangement was signed by the Chairperson of the State Commission on Information Security on 19th April 2017 in Sofia. The Arrangement was signed via administrative way.

The signed Arrangement establishes the regulatory base for providing and using classified information in the context of industrial security between the two countries.

The texts of the Arrangement reflect the agreement reached between the two countries by reflecting the differences in the legislations and in the systems for protection of the classified information in the Republic of Bulgaria and Canada.

The completion of the national legal procedures foe entering the Arrangement into force is forthcoming.
