Consultations held between the SCIS and the National security authority of the Republic of Kazakhstan

In the period 9 – 10 June at the State Commission on Information Security consultations were held with representatives of the National security authority and the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Kazakhstan. On Bulgarian side representatives of the SCIS and of the State Agency “National Security” participated in the consultations. The subject of the consultations was the Draft Agreement on mutual protection and exchange of classified information between the Republic of Bulgaria and the Republic of Kazakhstan. The Draft was negotiated on expert level and the fulfillment of the internal legal procedures of the two states is forthcoming. The signing of this Agreement will create possibility for the extension of the bilateral cooperation between the states in the political, military and economical fields of activity.
