Working meeting between the Chairperson of the State Commission on Information Security Mrs. Tsveta Markova and the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People’s Republic of China H. E. Mr. Guo Yezhou
Posted on 23 Nov 2011 17:43:00On 23 November 2011 in Sofia the Chairperson of the State Commission on Information Security Mrs. Tsveta Markova held a working meeting with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People’s Republic of China H. E. Mr. Guo Yezhou.
During the meeting Mrs. Markova presented the activities of the State Commission on Information Security in its capacity of National Security Authority of the Republic of Bulgaria.
She paid special attention to the international activities of the SCIS and especially on the signing of agreements on mutual protection and exchange of classified information by emphasizing the important role of such agreements as they set the legal framework in different fields of public life that require exchange of classified information.
Mrs. Markova presented to His Excellence Draft Agreement on mutual protection and exchange of classified information.
On his behalf the Ambassador thanked for the provided opportunity to be closely introduced to the activities of SCIS and emphasized that such agreement would be of great importance for Chinese companies which would like to develop activities in the territory of the Republic of Bulgaria.
He took on the engagement to forward the draft to the Chinese government for approval.
Both parties confirmed their readiness for co-operation.
The meeting was held in the headquarters of SCIS and was held in working environment.
