Working meeting between Mr. Boris Dimitrov Chairperson of the State Commission on Information Security and H. E. Mr. Fares Eid, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Lebanese Republic
Posted on 19 Jun 2013 15:25:05On 19th June 2013 a working meeting between Mr. Boris Dimitrov Chairperson of the State Commission on Information Security and H. E. Mr. Fares Eid, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Lebanese Republic was held.
Mr. Dimitrov introduced H. E. Mr. Fares Eid to the structure, the functions and the activities of the State Commission on Information Security as National Security Authority of the Republic of Bulgaria. He emphasized on the fact that the Commission carries out the state policy in the field of the protection of classified information and that one of the main priorities in its activities is related to the establishment of stable legal and international legal framework on the protection of classified information.
Both parties shared their positive assessment of a future signing of Agreement between the Republic of Bulgaria and the Lebanese Republic in the field of protection of classified information. The Ambassador received the Bulgarian draft agreement on mutual protection and exchange of classified information as Mr. Dimitrov explained that the signing of international agreement in this field will contribute for the economic development of the countries and will provide for the activation of the co-operation in different fields of public life, which require exchange of classified information.
The meeting was carried out in the building of the State Commission on Information Security and was conducted in working environment.
