Mandatory Instructions on implementing the principles and measures for protection of NATO and EU classified information in the field of personnel security
Posted on 10 Aug 2016 11:31:09On its working session held on 9th August 2016 the State Commission on Information Security adopted Mandatory Instructions on implementing the principles and measures for protection of NATO and EU classified information in the field of personnel security. The Mandatory Instructions are adopted on the grounds of Article 10, Paragraph 2, Section 4 of the Classified Information Protection Act.
The present Mandatory Instructions cover the order of implementing the procedures for protection of NATO and EU classified information in the field of personnel security in accordance with Article 10, Paragraph 2, Section 4 of the Classified Information Protection Act. The main purpose is the protection of NATO and EU classified information from unauthorized access by implementing unified procedures with clear succession of the actions of all participants involved in the process for issuance of security clearance certificates.
With the adoption of the current Mandatory Instructions, the Mandatory Instructions on issuing NATO/EU security clearance certificates and the vetting procedures of individuals and Mandatory Instructions for the security and public order services on vetting procedure and issuance of certificates for access to foreign classified information.
