A working meeting between Chairperson of State Commission on Information Security Mrs. Tsveta Markova and Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Republic of France Mr. Etien de Ponsen
Posted on 31 Mar 2010 16:34:00On 31 March 2010 in the city of Sofia the Chairperson of the State Commission on Information Security Mrs. Tsveta Markova is being held a working meeting with the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Republic of France in the Republic of Bulgaria Mr. Etien de Ponsen.
During the meeting Mrs. Markova represents to the Ambassador the State Commission on Information Security in its functions as a state authority implementing state policy in the area of Classified Information Protection and as a National Security Authority of the Republic of Bulgaria fulfilling the NATO and EU requirements.
On his behalf Mr. Ponsen emphasizes the significance of state authorities having power as the SCIS. He draws special attention on the activity on Classified Information Protection which requires high standards of professionalism and lack of political affiliation. He states the position that it is a state official service closely joined and responsible as for the national security as the international relations of the country related to the security guarantee and Foreign Classified Information Protection, provided to the Republic of Bulgaria. The Ambassador underlines in the sense that institutions as the SCIS has to be solid and political neutral.
Both sides reveal their satisfaction of existing collaboration and declare their willing to keep good relationship.
The meeting is held in the Headquarters of the SCIS in professional environment.
