Participation of representatives of the State Commission on Information Security in the 32nd MISWG meeting

In the period 4th September 2017 – 7th September 2017 in Ghent, Belgium the 32nd Annual Meeting of the Multinational Industrial Security Working Group – MISWG was held. The host of the meeting was the National Security Authority of Belgium.

On Bulgarian side experts from the Legal and International Legal Affairs Specialized Directorate in the State Commission on Information Security participated in the sessions of the working group.

Representatives of 32 countries, as well as representatives of NATO, European Defence Agency and European Space Agency participated in the sessions of the working group.

During the meeting topics were discussed in connection with facility security clearances, the control and the influence of foreign companies as well as cyber security. Draft MISWG documents were reviewed which are in a working format at the moment and will be subject of discussion during the next MISWG meeting in 2018 which will be held in Madrid, Spain.
