Participation of representatives of the State Commission on Information Security in the 33th MISWG meeting

In the period 17th September – 20th September 2018 in Madrid, Spain, the 33th meeting of the Multinational Industrial Security Working Group (MISWG) was held.  The meeting was hosted by the National Security Authority of the Kingdom of Spain.

The State Commission on Information Security was represented by the Mr. Ivan Pavlov - Deputy Chairperson of SCIS and Mr. Anton Borisov - Director of Legal and International Legal Affairs Specialized Directorate in the Commission.

Representatives of 31 countries, as well as representatives of NATO, European Defence Agency and European Space Agency participated in the sessions of the working group.

During the meeting topics were discussed in connection with facility security clearances, the control and the influence of foreign companies as well as cyber security. Draft MISWG documents were reviewed which are currently in working format and will be subject of discussion during the next MISWG meeting in 2019 which will be held in Croatia.
