Signing of Agreement between the Government of Montenegro and the Government of the Republic of Bulgaria on mutual protection and exchange of classified information
Posted on 24 Nov 2010 16:07:00Today, 24 November 2010, in Podgorica (Montenegro) the ceremony on the signing of Agreement between the Government of Montenegro and the Government of the Republic of Bulgaria on mutual protection and exchange of classified information was held. On behalf of the Government of the Republic of Bulgaria the Agreement was signed by the Chairperson of the State Commision on Information Security Mrs. Tsveta Markova and and on behalf of Montenegro by the Director of the Directorate for Protection of classified information Mr. Savo Vučinić.
The official signing was attended by the Ambassador Extraordinary and Pleninpotentiary of the Republic of Bulgaria to Montenegro Her Exellency Mrs. Maya Dobreva and Mr. Yordan Georgiev- Counsellor in the Bulgarian Embassy.
The objective of this Agreement is to ensure the mutual protection of classified information and to define the following issues regarding security of classified information: equivalent security classification levels, measures for protection of classified information, transfer of classified information, procedures during signing classified contracts as much as the rules for visits, access to classified information or inspections.
The Signing of the Agreement is a confirmation of the excellent cooperation between the Republic of Bulgaria and Montenegro in the field of classified information.
