Negotiations with Albania

In the period 11-13 April 2007 Bulgarian and Albanian experts met in Sofia for the negotiations on the Draft Agreement between the Government of Republic of Bulgaria and the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Albania on Mutual Protection and Exchange of Classified Information.

The Bulgarian delegation included representatives of the State Commission on Information Security, National Security Service and Service “Military Police and Military Counterintelligence. The Albanian delegation was headed by the Director of the National Security Authority.

The beginning of the national procedures of both countries for approval of the text and authorization for signing the Agreement is forthcoming.
