Agreement on the exchange and mutual protection of classified information was signed with Austria

On 11 July 2008 at 11.30 h in the State Commission on Information Security was signed the Agreement on exchange and mutual classified information protection between the Government of the Republic of Bulgaria and the Federal government of the Republic of Austria.

The Agreement established the legal framework for collaboration in the field of classified information protection between both two countries and built up conditions for effective reciprocal actions in different areas of public life, connected with the exchange of classified information.

Mrs. Tsveta Markova, the Chairperson of the State Commission on Information Security, signed the Agreement on behalf of the government of the Republic of Bulgaria and His Excellence Dr. Klaus Fabjan, the Ambassador of the Republic of Austria signed it on behalf of the Austrian side.
