Negotiations with the Kingdom of the Netherlands

The second round of the negotiations among representatives of the State Commission on Information Security, Bulgarian National Security Service and Service “Military Police and Military Counterintelligence” and representatives of the Dutch competent security authority on the draft Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Bulgaria and the Government of the Kingdom of the Netherlands on mutual protection of classified information was held in Sofia at the invitation of the State Commission on Information Security within the period November 20-21, 2007. Between the National Security Authorities of both countries were established stable relations and good interaction. The negotiations were conducted in a constructive manner and friendly atmosphere.

The start of the national procedures of both countries for approval of the text and authorization for signing the Agreement is forthcoming.
