In the Training center of SCIS in the town of Bankya mandatory initial training of Information Security Officers was held

In the period 26th September – 30th September 2016 in the Training center of SCIS in the town of Bankya mandatory initial training of 19 Information security officers of authorities of the executive power and its local administration, the judicial system, municipalities and private companies was held.

The training was opened by Mr. Vasil Rizov Deputy Chairperson of SCIS and Mr. Sergey Damyanov and Mr. Petar Petrov Members of SCIS who had short discussion with the participants.

In accordance with the program of the course the lectors presented to the participants main topics from the Classified Information Protection Act and the Regulation on its implementation. Special attention was paid to the functions of Information Security Officer. Practical courses concerning the different types of security of classified information were held. Specific issues with regard to the activity on the protection of classified information were discussed.

All participants passed successfully the final test and will be awarded with certificates for completed initial training on the protection of classified information.
