In the Training center of SCIS in the town of Bankya training of Heads of registries for national classified information

In its Training center in the town of Bankya in the period between 12th and 15th November 2012 the State Commission on Information Security held  a training course of 20 Heads of Registries for national classified information.

The training was held in accordance with a program including main themes of the Classified Information Protection Act (CIPA) and the Regulation on its implementation. The lectors of SCIS put an accent on the risks for the interests of the Republic of Bulgaria in the field of the protection of classified information, the concept for organizational entity and opening of registries, the system of authorities in the field of the protection of classified information, the control on the activity on the protection of classified information and the administrative-penal responsibility as per the CIPA. The attention of the trainees was concentrated mainly on documentary security issues as practical courses were held.

All participants finished the course successfully and received certificates for completed initial training awarded by Mr. Ognyan Avramov, Head of the Training and Vetting Department.
 
In the inquiry the participants expressed the opinion that the training was fully useful for their work.
 
The lectors expressed readiness for providing help and assistance on issues concerning the implementation of the CIPA and the sublegal framework in this field.
