In the Training center of SCIS in the town of Bankya mandatory initial training of Information Security Officers was held

In the period 10-14 November 2014 in the Training center of SCIS in the town of Bankya mandatory initial training of 26 Information security officers of municipal administrations, the judicial system, companies, authorities of the executive power and its local administration was held. The training was opened by Mr. Ognyan Avramov, Head of the Training and Vetting Department.

The lectors from SCIS presented to the participants main topics from the Classified Information Protection Act and the Regulation on its implementation. Special attention was paid to the functions of Information Security Officer. Practical courses concerning the different types of security of classified information were held with the participants. Specific issues with regard to the activity on the protection of classified information were discussed.

In the inquiry the trainees shared their satisfaction of the lectors, the material and technical base and the overall organization of the training.

All participants successfully passed the final test. The Vice-Chairperson of SCIS Mr. Vasil Rizov had discussions with the participants, awarded them with certificates for completed mandatory initial training and closed down the course.
