The State Commission on Information Security held training on the theme: “Protection of classified information – official secret”
Posted on 16 Mar 2012 17:11:00On 15 and 16 March 2012 in the Training center of the State Commission on Information Security in the town of Bankya training on the theme: “Protection of classified information – official secret” was held. As guest lecturers in the training representatives of the State Agency for National Security and Programme Access to Information Foundation were invited.
In the presentations the terms and conditions for originating of classified information “official secret”. The classified information “official secret” was considered also in the context of direct control under CIPA. The lecturers paid attention also on the issues on the implementation of the Law on access to public information by the territorial administration of the executive power. The judicial practice was considered in details in cases of denial of access to public information on the grounds that the information is classified. Data from the information funds of SCIS was presented concerning the classified information “official secret”.
The training was held with the active participation of the trainees. Several practical issues were discussed.
