In the Training center of the SCIS in the town of Bankya was held the first mandatory initial training of information security officers for 2013

From 14th to 18th January 2013 in the Training center of the State Commission on Information Security in the town of Bankya was held a mandatory initial training of 14 information security officers. The training was opened by the Vice-Chairperson of the Commission Mr. Vasil Rizov.

According to the training program the lectors of SCIS drew the attention on main themes of the Classified Information Protection Act (CIPA) and the Regulation on its implementation (RICIPA). Practical courses on personnel and document security of the classified information were held with the participants.
 
In the inquiry made the trainees shared their satisfaction of the lectors, the material-technical base and the overall organization of the training. High estimation was given to the practical implementation of the acquired knowledge. Copies of the Digest with the lections for the initial training and the Digest with the acts issued by SCIS in the period 2003-2012 were given to all participants.
     
All participants finished the course successfully and were awarded certificates for completed mandatory initial training by the Chairperson of SCIS Mr. Boris Dimitrov.
 
On behalf of SCIS readiness was expressed for providing help and assistance in case of questions on the implementation of the CIPA and the sub-legal framework in this field.
