Thematic training on industrial security was held in the Training center of SCIS in the town of Bankya

On 20th June 2013 in the Training center of the State Commission on Information Security in the town of Bankya thematic training on idnsutrial security was held of officers with access to classified information from the Defence Information Service, Commandantship – Ministry of Defence, ‘Elta-R Chenkin Ltd. and Security Group Alfa Ltd. The training was opened by Mr. Ognyan Avramov, Head of the Training and Vetting Department in the Internal Security Directorate.

According to the program Mrs Adriana Ivanova, who was the lector from SCIS, introduced the trainees to the main principles of industrial security, the preparation for the signing of contract, the procedure for selection of contractor involving access to classified information, as well as the requirements for issuing facility security clearances. In the discussions of concrete cases two representatives of the State Agency for National Security who answered to the questions in details.

In the inquiry the trainees shared that the training had been fully or to a great extent useful for their work.
