The SCIS held initial training in the field of protection of classified information with security officers in the Training center in the town of Bankya

From 20 to 24 February 2012 in the Training center of the State Commission on Information Security in the town of Bankya mandatory initial training of security officers from district and municipal administrations, judicial system authorities, state institutions and companies.

According to the training program the lecturers from the SCIS presented main subjects of the Classified Information Protection Act (CIPA) and the Regulation on its implementation (RICIPA). The attention was drawn to the risks for the interests of the Republic of Bulgaria in the field of the protection of classified information, the direct control checks and administrative-penal responsibility under the CIPA. Practical courses on personnel and documentary security of classified information were held.

Big part of the trainees – 88% - passed the training with an excellent grade and the rest of them – with a good grade.

In the inquiry the trainees pointed out the purposes of the program were entirely fulfilled. Those security officers who had worked longer in the field of the protection of classified information gave especially high evaluation of the practical implementation of the acquired knowledge on CIPA and RICIPA.
