In the Training center of SCIS in the town of Bankya thematic training on industrial security was held

On 29th November 2013 in the Training center of the State Commission on Information Security in the town of Bankya thematic training on industrial security of employees with access to classified information was held. The training was opened by Mr. Ognyan Avramov, Head of Training and Vetting Department in SCIS.

According to the training program the experts from SCIS introduced the trainees to main principles of industrial security, the preparation for signing a contract, the procedures for the selection of contractor and assigning of contract connected to classified information as well as to the terms and conditions for issuing facility security clearance. Discussion on issues and specific cases was held with the participants related to their work in the field of industrial security.
 
In the inquiry the trainees shared that the training was fully or to a great extent useful for their work and expressed willingness similar courses to be organized with representatives of contracting authorities and contractors.
