The State Commission on Information Security held mandatory initial training on the protection of classified information in itsTraining center in Bankya with security officers

In its Training center in Bankya from 5 to 9 December 2011 the State Commission on Information Security held mandatory initial training of security officers. 

The training programme included main themes of the Classified Information Protection Act (CIPA) and the Regulation on its implementation. The lectors of the SCIS put an accent on the risks for the interests of the Republic of Bulgaria in the field of protection of classified information, the types of classified information and the measures for their protection as well as the administrative-penal responsibility under the CIPA. Practical courses on personnel and documentary security of classified information as well as on the implementation of the CIPA and the sub legal acts on the maintenance of the activities of the registries and the unified registers were conducted. Representatives of the State Agency for National Security made a presentation about the direct control. 

The final test for verification of the knowledge of trainees was passed with 34% excellent grades, 58% of good grades and 38% of satisfactory grades

In the inquiry made the participants expressed the opinion that the training was completely or to a great extent useful for their work.

On behalf of the lectors readiness for assistance and co-operation on questions on matters related to the implementation of the CIPA and the sublegal framework in this field was expressed.
