The SCIS carried out initial training on the protection of classified information in its Training center in Bankya with security officers
Posted on 24 Oct 2011 15:41:54From 17 to 21 October 2011 in its Training center in Bankya the State Commission on Information Security carried out mandatory initial training of security officers from District road duties, from companies from the country, from state authorities and from the judicial system of the Republic of Bulgaria.
The training program included main themes of the Classified Information Protection Act (CIPA) and the Regulation on its implementation. The lecturers of the SCIS put an accent on the risks for the interests of the Republic of Bulgaria in the field of the protection of classified information, the types of classified information and the measures for its protection, the direct control and the administrative-penal responsibility under the CIPA. Practical courses on personnel and documentary security of classified information were held, as well as on the implementation of the CIPA and its sub-legal acts on the maintenance of the activities of the registries and the unified registers.
The outgoing test for verification of the knowledge of the trainees was passed with 48% excellent grades, 44% - good grades and 8% - satisfactory grades.
In their presentations and in separate conversations the lecturers reminded once again that they were available during the reception hours in the SCIS, as well as in any other time on the phone for providing help and assistance on issues arising in the activities of the trainees as security officers.
