Initial training on handling classified information of new employees in the administration of the SCIS

From 26th to 28th July 2011 in the Headquarters of the SCIS initial training on handling classified information of new employees in the administration of the Commission was conducted. 

According to the approved program by clarifying the main provisions of the Classified Information Protection Act (CIPA) and the Regulation on the Implementation of the Classified Information Protection Act (RICIPA) the lecturers of the SCIS directed the attention of the trainees to the risks for the interests of the Republic of Bulgaria, the authorities in the field of the protection of classified information, the marking and the levels of classification, the different types of protection of classified information and the administrative-penal responsibility in accordance with the CIPA. 

The training was finalized by a test for verification of the knowledge of the trainees.

In the enquiry made the participants expressed the opinion that the training fully or to a great extent useful for their work. According to a great part of the participants the objectives of the program were completely fulfilled. Those of the employees who had worked in the field of the protection of classified information gave an extremely high evaluation to the practical implementation of the knowledge on the CIPA and the RICIPA.
