In the Training center in Bankya the SCIS conducted initial training in the field of the protection of classified information with security officers of the judicial system of the Republic of Bulgaria

From 11 to 14 April 2011 in its Training center in Bankya the State Commission on Information Security conducted mandatory initial training of newly-appointed security officers of the judicial system in the Republic of Bulgaria.
According to the program the lecturers of the SCIS paid attention to main themes of the Classified Information Protection Act (CIPA) and the Regulation on its implementation. The attention was directed to the risks for the interests of the Republic of Bulgaria in the field of the protection of classified information, the types of classified information protection, the direct control and the administrative-penal responsibility according to the CIPA. Practical courses were carried out with the participants on the personnel and documentary security of classified information.

The training ended with outgoing test for checking the knowledge of the trainees. 70 % of them passed the training with an excellent grade, 20% - with a good grade and 10% - with satisfactory grade.

In the inquiry made the participants expressed the opinion that the training was fully or to a great extent useful for their work. According 40% by the trainees the objectives of the program were fully achieved and according to 45% - to a great extent.

On behalf of the SCIS readiness for providing assistance and help in case of questions on issues, related to the implementation of the CIPA and the sublegal regulatory framework in this field, was expressed.
