On 27 April 2011 a current training of the Heads of registries of the central state authorities and the security services with access to NATO classified information took place in the SCIS
Posted on 28 Apr 2011 18:24:00According to the program of the training the lecturers presented: the results of the inspection conducted in November 2010 by NATO Office of Security and the recommendations and the proposals that were made; the main NATO Security Policy, the NATO Security Directive and the procedure for the destruction of NATO classified information. Clarifications were made on the procedure during closing down of registries, handling NATO classified information.
During the training process the Chairperson of the SCIS Mrs. Tsveta Markova took part; she explained some relevant issues on handling NATO classified information to the participants.
A discussion was held in the frames of which the experts from SCIS answered numerous practical questions posed by the trainees.
According to the inquiry made within the participants the training is fully or to a great extent useful for their work and the purposes of the program are entirely achieved.
On behalf of the SCIS readiness for providing methodological help and assistance in the practical implementation on the acts on the protection of classified information of NATO and EU was expressed.
