Working meeting between Mr. Vasil Rizov Vice-Chairperson of SCIS and Mr. Muneer Ahmed Sulaiman Honorary Consul of the Republic of Bulgaria in the Sultanate of Oman

On 26 March 2014 Mr. Vasil Rizov Vice-Chairperson of SCIS had a working meeting Mr. Muneer Ahmed Sulaiman Honorary Consul of the Republic of Bulgaria in the Sultanate of Oman. In the meeting attended Professor Stoyan Denchev Rector of the University of Library studies and Information Technologies who is also Honorary Consul of the Sultanate of Oman in the Republic of Bulgaria. 

During the meeting Mr. Rizov presented the activities of SCIS as state authority which carries out the policy of the Republic of Bulgaria in the field of the protection of classified information and as National Security Authority in international aspect.

The important role of the bilateral agreements on mutual protection and exchange of classified information was emphasized as these agreements set the legal framework of international relations in public life, which require exchange of classified information.

On his behalf Mr. Sulaiman expressed his willingness for future cooperation with regard to the possibility of signing of Agreement on mutual protection of classified information between the Republic of Bulgaria and the Sultanate of Oman. 

The meeting was held in the Headquarters of SCIS and was held in working environment.
