Consultations with representatives of the Republic of Armenia for signing of agreement on mutual protection and exchange of classified information

In the period 5-6 November 2013  in Yerevan consultations between representatives of the Republic of Bulgaria and representatives of the Republic of Armenia for signing of agreement on mutual protection and exchange of classified information between the two countries. On Bulgarian side in the consultations attended experts from International Legal Affairs Department in the State Commission on Information Security. The Armenian delegation was represented by experts from the National Security Service, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Defence. The consultations were held on the grounds of draft agreement submitted by the Armenian side.

The signing of overall agreement in the field of protection of classified information between the Government of the Republic of Bulgaria and the Government of the Republic of Armenia will set the legal possibility for exchange of classified information in all areas of public life which will contribute to intensifying the cooperation between the two countries in different fields.

The consultations were held in the Headquarters of the National security service and were carried out in a working environment.
