Meeting of Expert Working Group of the National Security Authorities of South-Eastern European countries, members of Regional Cooperation Council (SEENSA)
Posted on 04 Apr 2018 11:17:00On 29th March 2018 in Ljubljana, Slovenia, meeting of Expert Working Group of the National Security Authorities of South-Eastern European countries, members of Regional Cooperation Council (SEENSA) was held.
SEENSA is a specialized regional cooperation format in the field of security for national security authorities and is focused on enhancing the cooperation between the National Security Authorities in South-Eastern Europe.
The meeting was hosted by the Government Office for Protection of Classified Information of the Republic of Slovenia. Representatives of the National Security Authorities of South-Eastern European countries and representatives of the Regional Cooperation Council participated in the Conference. On behalf of the State Commission on Information Security experts from Legal and International Legal Affairs Directorate participated.
During the meeting the development of the security in the region was discussed, information and best practices of the countries were exchanged.
The focus of the meeting was personnel security including the security awareness. The meeting has led to practical recommendations in the field of personnel security.
The next SEENSA Heads meeting will be held in the Republic of Slovenia in September 2018.
