Participation of representatives of SCIS in the Sixth meeting of the Heads of the National Security Authorities of South-Eastern European countries, members of Regional Cooperation Council (SEENSA)
Posted on 06 Oct 2016 17:37:47In the period 28th September 2016 – 30th September 2016 in Podgorica, Montenegro the Sixth meeting of the Heads of the National Security Authorities of South-Eastern European countries, members of Regional Cooperation Council (SEENSA) was held. The meeting was attended by heads and representatives of the National Security Authorities of South-Eastern European countries and representatives of the Regional Cooperation Council. On behalf of SCIS experts from the Classified Information Protection Directorate and Legal and International Legal Affairs Directorate participated.
The purpose of SEENSA format is the exchange of good practices and experience in the field of the protection of classified information and development of the regional cooperation in this field.
During the meeting topics were discussed on the current situation of cyber security in the region, the future steps of cooperation in education and training, as well as the proposal for establishing SEENSA Internet site.
Future initiatives were considered which the South-Eastern countries will undertake with regard to the cooperation in the field of security.
The Seventh SEENSA meeting on Heads’ level will be held in Belgrade, the Republic of Serbia in November 2017.
