Participation of representatives of SCIS in Expert Working Group meeting of the National Security Authorities of South-Eastern European countries, members of Regional Cooperation Council (SEENSA)
Posted on 15 Apr 2019 10:48:00On 10th April 2019 in Tirana, Albania an expert working group meeting of the National Security Authorities of South-Eastern European countries, members of Regional Cooperation Council (SEENSA was held. As the meeting was carried out in the SEENSA format and was attended by representatives of NSAs of the Republic of Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Republic of Bulgaria, Republic of Kosovo, Republic of Moldova, Montenegro, Republic of North Macedonia, Republic of Slovenia, Republic of Turkey and the Regional Cooperation Council.
During the meeting the participants shared their views on the development of the cooperation between South-Eastern European NSAs in the field of the protection of classified information. There were discussions on the achievements of the SEENSA thematic groups up to the present as well as on the vision of the NSAs on future initiatives – e.g. joint trainings on topics of mutual interest, raising the awareness about the opportunities for the participation of contractors involving access to classified information in the field of security and defence, drafting working documents covering national experience and best practices regarding the security of information.
The Ninth SEENSA meeting on Heads’ level will be held in the Republic of Albania in September 2019.
