PARTICPATION IN THE SECOND MEETING OF THE HEADS OF NATIONAL SECURITY AUTHORITIES OF SEE COUNTRIES, MEMBERS OF RCC

In the period 7-9 May 2012 in Brdo, Slovenia the Second meeting of the Heads of National security authorities of SEE countries, members of RCC was held. The grounds for this meeting were set in 2011 in Sofia by the State Commission on Information Security.

At the Second meeting participated representatives of the General secretariat of the Council of European Union, NATO Office of Security, Regional cooperation council, of National security authorities of Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Great Britain, Hungary, Macedonia, Moldova, Montenegro, Slovenia, Spain and UNMIK.

The Bulgarian delegation was headed by the Chairperson of the State Commission on Information Security Mrs. Tsveta Markova.

During the meeting four thematic working groups were created on themes concerning industrial and cyber security, trainings on handling classified information and the roles of the agreements on exchange and mutual protection of classified information in the frames of regional cooperation as Bulgaria is included in all of the four working groups on expert level.

The meeting coincided with the 10th Anniversary of the National security authority of Slovenia.
