State Commission on Information Security presented the annual report on the activities in the protection of classified information for 2017

On June 7th – 8th in the city of Stara Zagora seminar was held, where the Chairperson of the State Commission on Information Security (SCIS) Mr. Boris Dimitrov presented the main points and conclusions of the Annual report concerning the overall status of the protection of classified information of the Republic of Bulgaria in the year 2017.

Mr Dimitrov gave a broad overview of the changes in the functions and structure of SCIS and its administration. Topical issues have been presented related to the activities of the competent authorities and measures applied for the protection of classified information.

The seminar was attended by Security Officers of state authorities, security and public order services, judicial authorities and experts from the specialised administration of SCIS.

The Chairperson of the SCIS summarised the results achieved in the previous year, emphaisized on the usefulness of conducting operational and thematic meetings with the Security Officers with the State Commission on Information Security.
