Welcoming speech of Mrs. Tsveta Markova to the participants in a National conference related to the protection of critical infrastructure in the situation of multilateral terrorist threat

On 27 October 2011 the Chairperson of the SCIS Mrs. Tsveta Markova presented a welcoming speech to a national conference with international participation on theme:

‘Development of the necessary instruments for co-ordination of the interdepartmental activities on the protection of critical infrastructure in the situation of multilateral terrorist threat. Enhancing the capability for protection of key sites of the critical infrastructure in Bulgaria’.

The Conference was opened by Stefan Vodenicharov, Ph. D. in Technical Science – Corresponding Member of the Bulgarian Academy of Science and Director of the Institute of Metal Science, Equipment and Technologies “Acad. A. Balevski” and was held in the building of the Military Academy “G. S. Rakovski”.

It is part of a project in the frames of a program of the European Commission “Prevention, readiness and elimination of the consequences of terrorism and other threats for security. The continuity of the project is two years – 8 June 2011 to 8 June 2013.
