Initial training of newly-employed officers in the administration of SCIS

On 14 and 15 June 2012 in the building of SCIS initial training for handling 8 (eight) newly-employed officers of the administration of the Commission was held.

According the approved program in clarifying the main provisions of the Classified Information Protection Act (CIPA) and the Regulation on the Implementation of the CIPA the lecturers of SCIS addressed the attention to the risks for the interests of the Republic of Bulgaria, the authorities in the field of protection of classified information, security markings and classification levels, the different types of classified information protection and administrative-penal responsibility under CIPA.

The training was concluded with a test for verification of the knowledge of the trainees.

In the inquiry made the participants expressed the opinion that the training was completely or to a great extent useful for their activities. Those of the officers who have worked in the field of the protection of classified information gave especially high assessment to the practical implementation of CIPA and RICIPA.
