PARTICIPATION OF EXPERTS FROM SCIS IN THE METHODOLOGICAL MUSTER OF THE INFORMATION SECURITY OFFICER OF BULGARIAN AIR FORCES

Experts from the State Commission on Information Security (SCIS) in the period 20-21 June 2016 participated in the annual methodological muster of the Information Security Officer of the Air Forces.

Together with the officers from the registries for classified information and from administrative security departments of the military units subordinated to the Air Forces Command documentary and physical security issues were discussed in the field of national and foreign classified information. The experts from SCIS answered the questions regarding the review of documents and materials aiming at the removal of security classification levels and the preparation of protocols for the destruction of original documents with expired terms of protection.

The participants in the muster were introduced to the topics discussed during the recent seminar organized by SCSI as readiness was expressed for more active cooperation in upgrading the National system for protection of the classified information.
