In the period April 6th - April 8th 2016 the State Commission on Information Security hosted bilateral working meeting with the National Security Authority of the Czech Republic. The Czech delegation was headed by the Director of the National Security Authority and is comprised of specialists on different types of security of the classified information.

The main point of the visit was the topic concerning new challenges in the field of cyber security. The modern communication and information systems as well as the information handled therein are becoming more and more important part of every day’s life. On the other hand, several problems and threats emerge with regard to the security of these systems. The Czech National Security Authority has wide range of competences and rich experience in this field. Therefore, sharing experience within that visit would contribute to the national framework and would provide opportunity for analysis and implementation of the best Czech practices.

Within the visit it was foreseen that SCIS would present its activities, specifically Bulgarian experience in the field of training on handling classified information as key element to the system of protective measures and as activity of the Commission which is highly estimated by international partners.

This meeting is continuation of traditionally good relations established between the State Commission on Information Security and the National Security Authority of the Czech Republic.
