Amendment of Mandatory Instructions of SCIS for the opening functioning and closing down of registry for classified information
Posted on 24 Oct 2017 09:41:28 With Decision No.83 II/19th October 2017 the Mandatory Instructions of SCIS for the opening functioning and closing down of registry for classified information were amended. The amendment is with regard to the regulation of the access of couriers to information concerning security clearances, respectively EU and NATO security clearance certificates of the employees in the Organizational Entities who are authorized to receive documents and materials containing classified information. In Section II (Opening of registry for classified information) of the Instructions new Points 6 and 7 have been added in accordance with which the Information Security Officer shall maintain current list of the employees in the Organizational Entities assigned to receive packages with documents and materials containing classified information. The list shall contain information about the valid security clearances and EU and NATO security clearance certificates. The couriers shall be granted access to the list which shall be put on prominent place in the registry for classified information and/or the security zone of the Organizational Entity.Therefore, it is necessary the Information Security Officers to undertake the required actions in order to implement the Instructions.
